A little short film I created for our Sea of Summer ikebana-inspired installation at the Standard, Hollywood. I hope that you can make it! House-brewed Japanese pear tea to be served, shamisen performance, wishing tree, sake cocktail, night swimming, neon lights and a ceremonious good time await! See you there.
So loving my friend Stella's beautifully redone website. She shoots everything on film and her worlds simply take me away. She has such an eye; it is both mature like an old soul who has traveled the world three times over and also yet so young and delicate. Not fragile, just quivering in beauty. Always so captivating and enchanting.
Hi friends! I want to invite you to the opening ceremony for a special installation that I collaborated on with brilliant artist/designer/friend Christopher Daniels! The Standard gives us a lot of love and we want to extend that to you. We're having a night-swimming party witha very special tea and our new Ikebana-inspired installation to share with you!

Hi friends. I have a very special post to share with you tonight and I have been wanting to share this with you for a long while now. I know that I don't really share much about my personal life here. I did share our wedding with tid bits here and there but tonight I would like to quietly share with you mine and Elijah's home.
My very dear friendClaire Cottrellsuggested us toFreunde von Freundenand not only wrote about us but took all of these beautiful photos. When we were first asked to do this I was so honored and excited but then felt a bit reluctant to share because we live a pretty modest life. We don't really own a lot of fancy objects or furniture but what we do have is a lot of love and I feel that Claire captured that with her interview and photos! Furthermore the three of us had a really heartfelt and fun day when this was shot and I sincerely hope that you feel the love and good vibes too. These are the outtakes and you can see the final shots and read our interviewhere.
Thank you so kindly Claire + Fvf! We are beyond touched and honored.
(Funny too that we actually have five cats but funny enough all of the other four were being shy this day so you get to meet Osa, our youngest black and white cat).
